About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Butcher Shop Manager to lead our paddock-to-plate journey. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, engage the community, and promote sustainable food sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
Lead with Heart: Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
Butchery Excellence: Oversee meat preparation with care and precision; educate customers on cuts and cooking.
Community Connection: Build strong customer relationships; host workshops and events to share your passion.
Sustainable Sourcing: Partner with local farms and promote regenerative practices.
Marketing & Engagement: Use creative marketing, social media, and partnerships to share our story.
Operational Oversight: Manage inventory, staffing, scheduling, and finances; maintain a clean, welcoming shop.

About You
– Skilled in butchery with a strong belief in sustainable food systems.
– Leadership experience with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
– Creative, engaging, and community-minded.
– Retail or hospitality management experience preferred.
– Knowledge of nutrition and cooking techniques is a plus.

Wage: $35 – $38/hour + Superannuation (based on experience)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Qualified Butcher with strong skills in whole-body butchering. This role is perfect for someone who values craftsmanship, sustainability, and education, as well as someone who’s eager to share their knowledge with both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
Whole Body Butchery: Prepare high-quality cuts using traditional techniques with precision and care.
Customer Education: Help customers choose cuts and advise on cooking methods to support delicious, nourishing meals.
Product Development: Collaborate with the team to create value-added products that highlight both skill and sustainability.
Community Engagement: Participate in workshops and events that build food knowledge and appreciation.
Shop Support: Maintain a clean, well-organised work environment and ensure products are presented beautifully and safely.

About You
– Experience in whole-body butchery with a deep respect for ethical food practices.
– Confident communicator with a passion for customer service and education.
– A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
